Two More Ambulances for Hospitals in a Frontline City
As a result of the campaign “Ambulances for Zaporizhzhia,” launched by the City Development Institute of Zaporizhzhia, two medical transports were donated to City Children’s Hospital No. 5.
From now on, the medics will be able to transport small patients for examinations or treatment and provide the necessary care more quickly.
Both ambulances arrived in Ukraine from Austria and were donated by Land Tyrol. The Embassy of Ukraine in Vienna played a significant role in searching for available transports and delivering them to Zaporizhzhia. In turn, the City Development Institute assisted the Austrian partners in transferring the vehicles.
Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Vasyl Khymynets, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Austria, and his team, as well as Land Tyrol, for this most generous donation.
Earlier in July, another ambulance was gifted to Zaporizhzhia by foreign partners. A fully-equipped medical vehicle drove all the way from Gdańsk, Poland, and replenished the ambulance fleet of City Hospital No. 9.
