Community workers received new vehicles from German partners (video)

The “ELUASH” Municipal Enterprise has recently expanded its fleet with new vehicles, provided through assistance from German partners.

This support was made possible by a collaborative program involving the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ GmbH, and German municipalities.

In the spring, the capital state Magdeburg and the city of Zaporizhzhia applied for the assistance program to acquire vehicles, aiming to enhance the mobility of community workers. As a result, the “Eluash” Municipal Enterprise acquired a Toyota pickup. Additionally, the twin city of Oberhausen handed over a Bobcat skid loader to their colleagues in Zaporizhzhia.

The significance of such assistance cannot be overstated, as the new equipment not only speeds up work but also makes it much easier, according to the workers of “ELUASH.”

“The vehicles will be used in the maintenance of city infrastructure and construction works. They will enable our employees to carry out their duties with greater quality and speed,” says Mr. Vitalii Nesterenko, Deputy Director for Technical Issues.
