International partners strengthen city rescue service with lifesaving equipment
During the terrorist attacks by the Russian Federation on Zaporizhzhia, the municipal rescue service is always among the first responders on the scene, arriving immediately after the State Emergency Service. These brave rescuers demonstrate extraordinary courage, risking their own lives to protect and assist the city’s residents.
Thanks to the support of our international partners, the city’s rescue service now has an even greater capacity for rapid response.
The Ukrainian Action charity and the British company Devon have donated specialized equipment, including rescue and protective suits, as well as 20 units of high-tech Holmatro equipment—essential for life-saving operations. Our Polish partners have also contributed, providing 10 fabric stretchers for safely transporting victims.
This assistance is more than just new equipment; it is a vital investment in the safety and well-being of Zaporizhzhia’s residents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our international partners for their trust, support, and invaluable assistance. Their efforts are helping Zaporizhzhia endure and remain strong, even in the most challenging times.
