International Medical Corps is visiting Zaporizhzhia

International Medical Corps is one of the major partners of Zaporizhzhia in wartime. The global humanitarian organization has supported our city since the first months of the full-scale war.

The International Medical Corps’s emergency relief package includes medical supplies for city hospitals and financial assistance for displaced persons and residents of Zaporizhzhia, affected by Russian missile attacks. Besides that, the organization helped to renovate an air raid shelter at Children’s Hospital No. 5 and replace windows in hostels for IDPs.

On May 3, city officials met with the Ukrainian Emergency Response team of the International Medical Corps. During this meeting, the partners discussed the priorities of further work and how to support the medical system of Zaporizhzhia most efficiently.
