Working with international partners to create better conditions in city hospitals

The IOM Mission in Ukraine has generously donated 45 washing machines and 36 clothes dryers to hospitals in Zaporizhzhia.

These household appliances will significantly improve conditions for patients in the city’s medical facilities, including maternity hospitals. The value of this donation is heightened as many internally displaced persons stay in hospitals for medical care immediately after emergency evacuation, often with very few personal belongings. Unfortunately, a considerable number of people have lost everything due to the war are still coming in search of shelter and assistance in Zaporizhzhia.

Given these circumstances, the support from humanitarian organizations and other international partners is very important for our city. We deeply appreciate every partnership and each contribution made towards aiding those in need.
