From data to insight: shaping Vision of Zaporizhzhia 2030

On May 20, the Ro3kvit Urban Coalition for Ukraine presented the results of its research conducted in collaboration with the Zaporizhzhia City Council as part of the Vision 2030 project.

This initiative, spanning from February to May, brought together experts, activists, and local authorities to analyze the city’s challenges and develop strategies for its future growth.

During the project, working groups involving stakeholders from various sectors met regularly to discuss current concerns, propose innovative solutions, and plan their implementation. A key focus was gaining a comprehensive understanding of the city by mapping major transportation routes, environmental zones, industrial areas, and other critical facets of its infrastructure.

The Ro3kvit team meticulously processed statistical data to visualize the prospects and challenges of Zaporizhzhia. This process enabled the formulation of an initial vision for the city’s development, taking into account its unique characteristics and potential.
