Working with partners to create better living conditions for internally displaced persons
The City Development Institute of Zaporizhzhia continues its cooperation with partners to improve living conditions for internally displaced persons residing in municipal temporary accommodation facilities.
Supporting people who have lost their homes remains one of the city’s key priorities. Together with our partners, we are implementing initiatives to ensure comfortable and safe living conditions for displaced families.
Our long-standing partner, the Rokada Charitable Foundation in Zaporizhzhia, is supporting comprehensive renovations in dormitories for internally displaced persons. The partners have already helped fully renovate seven rooms in one such facility, upgrade bathrooms, replace electrical wiring and lighting on two floors, and create a recreation area for residents.
Additional improvements are planned in the near future, including the refurbishment of furniture and the provision of household appliances, which will make the living space even more comfortable.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Rokada Charitable Foundation for its ongoing support, professionalism, and significant contribution to creating dignified living conditions for displaced persons in Zaporizhzhia.
