Health care center receives essential generators to be fully prepared for emergencies

The German-Ukrainian charitable organization Blau-Gelbes Kreuz and Neuss Hilft supported Zaporizhzhia’s healthcare system by delivering generators to medical facilities.

The donation includes generators with capacities of 20 kVA, 6.1 kW, and 7.0 kW. These are four out of five devices delivered to Zaporizhzhia; the fifth was handed over to the State Fire and Rescue Detachment. Logistics support for the humanitarian mission was provided by THW.

These generators will significantly bolster the capacity of Primary Health Care Center No. 2, which serves two city districts, including the largest district, Shevchenkivskii.

We have 10 centers at different locations that require a critical power supply for emergencies. Some of these centers have separate outpatient clinics with shelters, making a reliable energy supply crucial for their operation. With the acquisition of these 10 generators, we have fully met our needs in such equipment. We express our gratitude to our partner organizations from Germany,” says Ms. Viktoriia Kolodka, medical director of the Primary Health Care Center No. 2.

A bit more about our partners: Neuss Hilft actively collaborates with various partners and companies to assist those in need, including in Ukraine. Blau-Gelbes Kreuz (meaning “Blue and Yellow Cross“) has steadfastly supported Ukraine since 2014, providing aid to people affected by war and other vulnerable populations.

We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone contributing to the strength and safety of our city.
