Career Hub in Zaporizhzhia gathered partners to discuss how to support vulnerable women

Viktoriia Agientaieva, director of the City Development Institute of Zaporizhzhia, joined as a speaker at the cross-sectoral round table held on April 27.

The event was hosted at the Career Hub for Women in Zaporizhzhia. The round table involved officials of the city council and regional state administration, representatives of the UNFPA GBV Response and Prevention Programme, specialists of social services and managers of charitable organizations. Female visitors of the Career Hub attended the event, too.

The main subject of the round table discussion was ways to increase the economic independence and resilience of vulnerable women, including IDPs, victims of gender-based or domestic violence, and women from risk groups. 

During the meeting, regular visitors of the Career Hub shared their success stories, while representatives of the local authorities, non-governmental sector and donor organizations discussed further areas for cooperation.
