New rehabilitation services to be available at the city’s inclusive resource centers

Inclusive resource centers in Zaporizhzhia have received new rehabilitation equipment thanks to our cooperation with the Government of Japan and the Strategies and Technologies for Effective Partnership (STEP) NGO.

Specifically, STEP NGO, using grant funds from the Kusanone programme, purchased three sets of suspension therapy equipment, which are highly demanded tools in rehabilitation practice.

The project “Improving Rehabilitation Conditions in Inclusive Resource Centers in Zaporizhzhia” is an important step towards offering better opportunities for restoring health and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.

The new rehabilitation equipment allows children and adults to perform exercises that help normalize muscle tone, increase muscle strength, and improve balance and coordination. It will be utilized in the inclusive resource centers of three city districts, significantly enhancing the accessibility and quality of rehabilitation services for people with disabilities.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Government of Japan for its generous support under the Kusanone Programme.
