Oberhausen sends another humanitarian cargo to help Zaporizhzhia

This week, Zaporizhzhia received 7t of relief goods from its twin city in Germany – Oberhausen. The humanitarian cargo includes power generators, emergency blankets, protective suits and medical supplies for municipal hospitals.

This is already the fourth truck arriving from Oberhausen since December 2022, not counting the two ambulance vehicles also donated by the twin city in winter. Each time German partners try to address the most urgent concerns of our community and send the most needed goods.

Among the aid delivered, there are three 62,5 kVa power generators. One was donated to the Melitopol city council (office in Zaporizhzhia) by Berlin, a twin city of Melitopol.

The total cost of donated goods is 61,602.94 €. All humanitarian supplies, except those belonging to Melitopol, will be distributed among the medical facilities in Zaporizhzhia and emergency buses.
