GEM provides financial assistance for vulnerable populations
Thanks to the Global Empowerment Mission, 75 people in need received financial assistance. The organization plans to continue this initiative in the future to support the most vulnerable populations in Zaporizhzhia.
Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) was founded in 2011 to aid vulnerable people worldwide. Over the years, they have conducted numerous aid campaigns and humanitarian missions. It’s no surprise that during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, GEM has become a reliable partner for frontline Zaporizhzhia and a source of help for city residents.
Together with the Howard G. BUFFETT Foundation, GEM has already replaced more than 2,000 windows and about 4,000 double-glazed windows in buildings damaged by shelling. Additionally, the organizations have supplied the city’s Points of Invincibility with powerful generators and regularly provided food to internally displaced people.
Additionally, yesterday, GEM distributed 75 payment cards with financial assistance of $50 each to vulnerable people in Zaporizhzhia. These funds can be used to purchase necessary products at any store in the city. GEM promises to continue their support and organize similar events in the future.
We thank the Global Empowerment Mission for their boundless kindness and constant support of those in need.
