Czech NGO People in Need provides support for mothers and newborns in Zaporizhzhia

We sincerely thank our reliable partner, the Czech nonprofit organization People in Need, for its constant support and assistance.

People in Need (PIN) has been working in Ukraine since 2003, initially implementing human rights programs. Since 2014, they have been involved in humanitarian projects. After February 24, 2022, PIN scaled up its activities to 23 regions of Ukraine, making it one of the key international organizations providing support to victims of Russian military aggression.

This time, PIN donated a large batch of diapers to maternity hospitals in Zaporizhzhia. These supplies are very much needed in the postnatal care and intensive care units. The diapers will also be distributed to women in labor to care for their newborns.
