Zaporizhzhia and Israel Trauma Coalition launch Instructor Course for Crisis Response

Zaporizhzhia City, together with the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC), has launched an instructor training course for the Regional Center for National Resistance and Veteran Policy, a municipal institution under the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council.

The program focuses on sharing ITC’s unique expertise developed over many years of working with the consequences of military conflicts. The course is designed to practice assistance protocols for crisis situations, which will later be applied in consultations and in training new personnel.

This is not the first joint initiative since the Zaporizhzhia City Council signed a memorandum with ITC. Previously, the Coalition conducted training sessions for social workers, healthcare professionals, and educators, helping prepare local specialists to respond to crises and provide both first aid and psychological support.

The knowledge and practical skills acquired through these programs are now being used to support civilians, internally displaced people, and veterans, strengthening community resilience and readiness to face the challenges of wartime.
